Important Information

Operational Merger

West Denver Community Credit Union is set to operationally merge with Denver Community Credit Union on August 1st. This means that the former West Denver Community branch and systems will act as Denver Community Credit Union. On this date, members have access to all of Denver Community’s products and services, and locations.

Branch Closures & Online Banking Down Time

To facilitate a smooth transition of West Denver Community members onto Denver Community’s systems, the West Denver Community Credit Union branch will be closed on Saturday, July 29th and Monday, July 31st. The branch will reopen on August 1st at 12:00pm. Online banking will also be unavailable starting at 6:00 pm on July 28th. You will have access to all Denver Community Credit Union locations, as well as access to Denver Community’s Online and Mobile Banking systems on August 1st, after 12:00pm.

Branch Hours

As a result of the merger of West Denver Community Credit Union with Denver Community Credit Union, there will be changes to the West Alameda branch location. Please note that starting on August 2nd branch hours will be as follows:

Tue - Fri: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sat: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Drive Through Hours
Mon - Fri: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sat: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Information regarding account numbers, debit and credit cards will be coming soon.  Check back for updates.

Direct Deposit & ACHs

You will not be required to make any changes to any incoming Direct Deposits, or any incoming or outgoing ACH transactions currently set up through your West Denver Community Credit Union account during this transition.

Any new incoming or outgoing ACH transactions (including online transactions set up with your checking or savings account, not with a debit or credit card) will need to be set up using Denver Community Credit Union's routing number, and your account number starting August 1st.

Debit & Credit Cards

Your West Denver Community Credit Union debit and credit cards will work through 11:59pm on Monday, July 31st.  Your cards will not work between 12:00am (midnight) and 12:00pm (noon) on August 1st.  Please plan accordingly.

New Denver Community Credit Union debit and credit cards will be mailed to current West Denver Community Credit Union card holders by the end of July.  these cards will not work before August 1st.  You may activate your card using the instructions sent with your new card after 12:00pm (noon) on August 1st.

Bill Payer

Bill Payer Down Time

Please note that Bill Payer will be unavailable starting July 21st.  This will be the last day to submit a payment request.  Starting July1st, no future-dated bill payer payments will be allowed.  Payments scheduled to go out between July 21st and July 31st WILL NOT be processed.  Please make other arrangements for these payments.  You will have access to Denver Community's Bill Payer starting August 1st.  All Bill Payer payments will need to be set up in Denver Community's Bill Payer system after this date.*

*Bill Payer Fee - $3.95 charged for each month Bill Payer is not used.  Complete at least 1 Bill Payer transaction per month to avoid the fee.

Online Banking

West Denver Community members will have access to Online Banking starting August 2nd.

Denver Community's Online Banking is better than ever, and West Denver Community Credit Union members will have access to our Online Banking Starting August 2nd!  Online Banking is the easy and convenient way to manage your money, wherever you have access to a computer or mobile device.  Enjoy features that make for an improved Online Banking experience!

Enrollment Instructions

To enroll for Online or Mobile Banking please follow these steps.

  1. Click here, to open the enrollment page.
  2. Create a new Login ID.  The login ID must be between 8-20 characters; may contain all letters or a combination of letters and numbers. This is what you will enter each time you log into Online Banking, moving forward.
  3. Enter the Last Name of the Primary Member.
  4. Enter the Primary Member's Member Number.
  5. Enter the Current Membership Password.  For West Denver Community Credit Union members, this will temporarily be the last 4 digits of the primary member's Social Security Number.  
  6. Enter the last six digits of the Primary Member's Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax Identification Number (TIN). (XXXXXX)
  7. Enter the Primary Member's Date of Birth. (MM/DD/YYYY) 
  8. Click Continue.
  9. You will then be prompted to confirm the Login ID you created.  You will also be provided with a temporary password.
  10. Click on the "Home" button.
  11. Enter your Login ID and temporary password into the Online Banking login box.
  12. You will be prompted to go through the multifactor authentication process detailed below, and to change your password.
  13. You now have access to Online Banking.

Secure Access Code

Use of a secure access code will be required twice; once for your first time login and once for your second time login, which is used for multifactor authentication, ensuring your account's security.  Register your browser when prompted to avoid having to use a secure access code again.  If you are using a public computer, you may not want to register your browser, you should only register your personal computer(s).

Secure Access Code via Phone call

To receive your secure access code via phone call, please verbally answer the phone call.  Verbal response will prompt our system to provide you with your secure access code.  If you fail to verbally answer the phone call, no voice message will be left for your security.

Secure Access Code via SMS Text

Receiving your secure access code with a text message is easy.  A text message will arrive on your phone within a minute or two.  If you do not receive your secure access code, please request your secure access code again or call 303-573-1170.

Secure Access Code via Email

Email is an option available for you to use to receive your secure access code.  The code should arrive within a minute or two.  If you do not see your secure access code, please check your spam or junk folders.

Mobile Banking

West Denver Community members will have access to Mobile Banking starting August 2nd.

Access your accounts while you are on the move with our enhanced Mobile Banking.  View your accounts, make transfers, pay your bills, and deposit checks all from mobile device.

Mobile Banking is available to members, even if there is no need for Online Banking (on a computer).  Manage your accounts with the same capabilities as Online Banking, and more, in one simple app.  To use Mobile Banking, download the app for your Apple® or Android™ device.*

  • Mobile Check Deposit - Skip the trip to a branch to deposit a check.  Deposit checks to your account, all through through the Denver Community Mobile Banking app.  Just Tap. Snap. Deposit!
  • Mobile Bill Pay - Make and manage all of your bill payments on your mobile device.  You'll never need to visit another site again to pay bills.
  • Mobile e-Statements - Stay on top of your accounts with access to mobile e-Statements, located in the app.
  • Locate a Branch or ATM - When you are on-the-go, and need Denver Community Credit Union, use the Mobile app to find the closest branch or ATM.
CO-OP Shared Branches and ATMs

West Denver Community members will have access to CO-OP Shared Branches and ATMs starting August 2nd.

As a member of Denver Community, you have access to the CO-OP Network.  This gives you access to over 5,000 Shared Branches and over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide!  Click here to find a Shared Branch or CO-OP ATM near you.

Shared Branch

At any Shared Branch location you can do basic account transactions, including:

  • Deposits
  • Cash withdrawals
  • Check withdrawals
  • Account inquiries
  • Transfers between sub-accounts
  • Transfers between Shared Branch credit unions
  • Loan payments and loan advances

What you need at a Shared Branch location:

  • The name of your credit union
  • Your account or member number
  • A valid US, state, county, federal, or city government issued picture identification with signature

West Denver Community Credit Union members now have complete access to Denver Community's award-winning financial education program, Clear Money!  Our comprehensive program offers classes that are free to the public, podcasts, e-courses, and access to one-on-one financial coaching with an Accredited Financial Counselor.*  Use the links below to view and/or register for any of our upcoming classes, or request one-on-one financial coaching.

*Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors are certified through the Credit Union National Association via classes and testing to prepare them for working with members of credit unions.  The certification process reviews counseling skills and knowledge of financial issues.  In addition, Denver Community Credit Union through its Clear Money program encourages its counselor to stay current on financial issues that involve its membership.
