What are the requirements to become a member?

First, so happy you want to join us! Joining Denver Community is more than an account – you become an owner of your cooperative financial institution. Your deposit dollars go directly into loans for others in your community. You’re joining something special. Second, you may start opening your membership by completing our online application, or by visiting any branch location. To finish opening your membership you will need to provide two forms of identification. One form of identification required is a government issued ID. A secondary ID can be a credit or debit card, student ID, or social security card. A $25 deposit is also required to open your required Share Savings account. This $25 represents your ownership of the credit union as a member.

To become a member of Denver Community, you must live or work in Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, or Denver County. You may also become a member if you are a family member of a current member, or are a member of Consumers United Colorado.
