What is a credit union?

Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives that are owned by their members, and are managed by a volunteer board of directors that is elected by credit union members. Credit unions offer all traditional banking products and services and are Federally Insured by the National Credit Union Administration. They are a great, safe place to build your financial foundation.
